Daily Calendar Puzzle

Fit the pieces to frame the date
No single right answer — find yours

Cover every cell of the calendar except the current month, day, and weekday. Sounds simple. Plays harder. Some days fall together in a flash; some have you working around three cells while the kettle whistles.

What makes Daytl different

Most daily puzzles want you to find their answer.
Daytl helps you find yours.

Every puzzle here has many valid solutions. The solver and hints work with your choices instead of steering you toward one correct answer. They preserve what you've already built, helping you finish what you started rather than start over.

Three daily challenges

Dawn — rectangular calendar board with pastel pieces

Dawn

The classic rectangular board. A bright, steady start to the morning.

Dusk — same shape with deep navy frame and jewel-tone pieces

Dusk

Same shape, different pieces and layout. A slower puzzle for the end of the day.

Honey — hexagonal honeycomb board

Honey

The hexagonal variant. Pieces rotate in six directions instead of four. A new way to think about fit.

Hints that honor your progress

Check

See which pieces are correctly placed and which need to move. Daytl works out a solution that keeps as many of your pieces correct as possible.

Reveal

Choose a piece and have it placed for you. Daytl works with your existing layout to find a position that fits your path to the finish.

Play your way

Use up to six hints per puzzle, or go purist with none at all. Entirely up to you.

Daily play

Replay, differently

One solution isn't the end. Because the solver adapts to your first few moves, a second pass produces a second solution. A third produces a third.

A small habit, tracked gently

Daytl tracks your streaks and times and saves them locally to your device. No leaderboards, no shouting, no nagging notifications — just your own progress.

If you enjoy tangrams, pentominoes, Wordle, or Connections, Daytl is your next daily habit.

Two minutes a day. That's the whole commitment.
